It’s March, so while you all are dusting off your porches and picking up allergy medication for the Great Pollening, the Board is working hard to prep for another great season at NUSC. Important updates below: 

Season Dates

• Clean-up day: April 26th  

• [Tentative] BBQ Cook-off Fundraiser: May 3rd 

• • If you’re interested in participating or volunteering, please respond to this email 

• Soft open for swim team and morning adult lap swimming: May 5th 

• Opening day: May 19th (After-school hours only Monday 19-Thursday 22) 

• Memorial Day Cookout: May 26th 

• End-of-school ice cream social: May 29th  

• New Member Party (Adults only): June 14th 

• Fourth of July Party: July 4th  

• End of regular season hours: August 3rd  

• • Beginning Monday August 4th the pool will be open 4:30-8pm during weekdays and 4:30-9pm Fridays, 11-9pm Saturdays, 11-8pm Sundays 

• Adult Olympics: August 16th 

• Labor Day Party: September 1st  

• Last day: TBD 

• Clean-up day: TBD 

Swim Team

• Registration for 2025 swim team is now open! https://nusc.swimtopia.com/ 

• We are planning for swim lessons again this year. Details to come at a later date.

Other notes from the Board

• The NUSC By-Laws have been updated on the website. You can access them by either clicking ‘Member Documents’ from the Member Dashboard or the Policies tab from the top banner. These updates were primarily to remove missing or outdated references and restrictions as well as to add clarifying information regarding the initiation fee. 

• We have been making other updates to the website as well: 

• • The News tab at the top banner will now show past newsletters and any other relevant information about events, etc.. 

• • The Shop tab has been updated and includes guest passes and concessions credit (details to come) 

• • Updates to the pavilion reservation process 

• Don’t forget—guest passes will expire at the end of the season. We are finalizing a process to make redeeming passes easier. 

• We are getting quotes for modernizing the pool entry gate. This would help with pool security and provide a way to check members into the pool. Stay tuned as we learn more.
