We are wrapping up the 2025 membership drive and are looking forward to welcoming new families to the pool this year. If you are one of those families—we are so glad to have you. Upcoming and notes from the board 

1. 2025 Season Dates: We will be sharing the season calendar after the board meeting next month. This includes set up and clean up days at the open and close of the season—we hope you can help. 
2. Call for Interest: Board positions are for two years and most of the board will be rolling off at the end of the season. As a volunteer-run pool, that means we are counting on you to step up if you’re able. Don’t worry, we’ll be mentioning this throughout the season, but if you would like to learn more about positions or even just what it is we do—reach out: board@nusc.com
3. What is the board currently working on? The board is looking into updates for purchasing and redeeming guest passes and considering requests for adding concessions. We have also been working to make updates to the By-Laws and Pool Rules and will share those once available. The priority is also quickly shifting to preparing for the season—there is a lot to do as a self-managed pool. 
4. Additional help needed: 
   • Our events are always a hit, but they can’t be done solo. You can volunteer for a single event or the whole summer.  
   • Calling all handy persons…Anyone available to help us to install a bulletin board outside the gates? It would probably require 2-4 people and about 1-2 hours max.  
   • We need an iPad! Does anyone have one they no longer need and would be willing to donate to the pool?
